About Donna Marie

I live in Central Virginia, where I often hike the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband and six children.

 

I started writing in elementary school when I received a prompt book in a weekly reader subscription. I didn't have the encouragement or discipleship to believe in myself and stopped writing in high school. Later, after meeting my husband's aunt, she pulled me in to her writer's group, where I made wonderful friends, received encouragement, and grew as a writer.

Over the past decade, I've taken courses, collaborated with other authors, and honed my craft. I hope to pour encouragement into the cup of other young writers. Believe in yourself, get plugged in with writer friends, never stop learning, and write as often as you can.
